Opinion, Speculation, Analysis From The Baish| Chief medical examiner for New York City, Barbara Sampson, explained that while her office had already finished conducting an autopsy of recently deceased billionaire/close Clinton family friend/accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, they have not yet officially determined a cause of death.
According to the Washington Post, results from the autopsy were expected to be released to the public by Sunday afternoon, however Sampson explained that the results are “pending further information.”
“Epstein, who was facing up to 45 years in prison on sex-trafficking charges, was found unconscious Saturday morning in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. He was pronounced dead that morning after apparently hanging himself,” reports the Daily Caller. “The guards who were supposed to be checking in on Epstein reportedly failed to do so because both were working overtime, the president of the local union for jail staffers told WaPo.”
Both the Department of Justice and the FBI are investigating Epstein’s sudden death, according to Attorney General William Barr, who made the announcement on Saturday. The New York Times reports that the FBI is also looking into those people who Epstein’s accusers have claimed had connections to Epstein’s international sex-trafficking ring.

On Friday, Documents revealed that Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Epstein, said that the multimillionaire made her perform “erotic massages and have intercourse with a number of powerful men,” according to the Caller.
Roughly three dozen underage girls were identified by the FBI, most of them falling between the ages of 13 and 16, who claimed that they had been recruited to perform sex acts on the multimillionaire and his friends. These claims were made during a 2005 probe into Epstein’s misconduct, according to the Miami Herald.
“Epstein had potentially faced life in prison but struck a plea deal in 2008, and was sentenced to spend 13 months in a Florida prison on a work-release program,” the Caller explains.
NEW: Multiple briefed on the Epstein investigation tell NBC News that suicide remains the presumed cause of death.
The ongoing FBI investigation may further inform the M.E.’s office which will allow them to make a determination with complete confidence. Reported w @jonathan4ny
